Join other Samford Stingrays at an exciting open swim event at Coolum on September 2nd. As we gear up for our upcoming swim season, take to the open waters of Coolum Beach and stretch those swimming arms and legs.

📅 Date: September 2nd, First race starts 8.30 am
📍 Location: Oz Ski Resort, Coolum – 60 Junction Drive Coolum Beach, Queensland

Whether you’re a seasoned swimmer or just dipping your toes into the water, this event is for everyone. It’s a fantastic opportunity to get back into the swimming groove, connect with fellow swimmers, and soak up the sun by the beach.

🌟 Highlights:
1.25km, 2.5km and 5km distance swims
The minimum age is 11 years as of 2 September 2023
Pre-season motivation and inspiration
Fun and camaraderie with SASC members

No matter your experience level, the open swim event is about having a great time in the water and preparing for the swim season ahead. So bring your friends, family, and a whole lot of enthusiasm! The only requirement is swimmers must be capable of completing the distance they nominate for.
